It's a great way to become familiar with poems and she often ends up memorizing at least that stanza just from copying.

Thanks for sharing.Jamie {See Jamie blog}https://www.blogger.com/profile/18212749055211487304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6177092898537709928.post-12437433979763635542008-05-13T15:56:00.000-07:002008-05-13T15:56:00.000-07:00Yes, this is a very good reminder, indeed.JennYes, this is a very good reminder, indeed.
JennJennifer Hootshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16757290424217660803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6177092898537709928.post-66277899399880886492008-05-13T07:46:00.000-07:002008-05-13T07:46:00.000-07:00I SO need to introduce more poetry in our home. Next thing I knew, she had memorized The Swing all by herself just because she liked it! You should hear her! She does it with up and down voice influctions (sp?) just like as if she is really going up and down on a swing. I may be biased, but I think it is fabulous!
Many Blessings,
Holly@aiminghighAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
